As an established family company, we
have been building for four generations, since the early part of the 20th
Century. Now, the tradition
continues under the management of Noel & Andrew Oldershaw, who between them
have over 60 years of experience in the Building Industry.
With our own team of time served
Carpenters, Joiners, and Bricklayers, together with help from Specialist
Sub-Contractors we are ideally equipped to carry out Maintenance and Minor
Building Projects around Leicestershire up to the value of approximately £60,000.00.
The company is a Member of the National
Federation of Builders, (NFB), the National House Building Council, (NHBC) and
is registered with the Fenestration Self Assessment Scheme, (FENSA).
Noel Oldershaw – Managing
Director
Noel joined the company in 1957 and
began his training in Carpentry and Joinery. At the age of 20 he won first prize
from the British Institute of Certified Carpenters in a competition for students
from the Midlands area. Since
completing his apprenticeship, Noel has spent over 40 years with the company,
during which time he has furthered his own personal development by progressing
into Estimating and then onto General Management.
As Managing Director, Noel is responsible for both Financial and Contract
Management. Noel is an Associate of
The Chartered Institute Of Building.
Andrew Oldershaw
– Director
Andrew joined the company in 1980 after completing a Higher National Diploma in Building Studies. He has progressed from Contract Management through to Estimating and became a Director in 1986. As recognition of the company’s commitment to training, Andrew was invited to teach, part time, on a Higher National Certificate Building Studies Course at De Montfort University; this he did for 5 years. To further his own understanding of the complete building process, Andrew undertook a Master of Science Degree in Property Development, which he was awarded in 1994. Andrew is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and an Incorporate Member of The Chartered Institute of Building. Andrew is a Past President of the Leicestershire & Rutland Association of the National Federation Of Builders, and a member of the Leicestershire Joint Consultative Committee for the Building Industry.

of Joiners, Carpenters, Bricklayers and Specialist Sub-Contractors, Oldershaw
Brothers Ltd. is able to carry out building work within the Leicestershire
locality, from the smallest repair to larger contracts valued at approximately
£60,000.00.
