the right building team is important to ensure that work to be carried out will
fulfill client requirements, with the minimum of disruption to all concerned.
We, at Oldershaw Brothers, have always understood
the need to work closely with our clients and have long standing experience of
the special requirements needed for carrying out building and maintenance work
in a variety of environments. Wherever
we carry out a building project, we endeavour to ensure that our client’s
needs are identified and complied with.
We have a proven track record working in close
association with Home Owners, Local Authorities, Churches, Schools, Industrial
& Commercial Properties.

Health
& Safety
Our operatives have completed apprenticeship
courses for their own particular trade and are only too aware of the potential
dangers associated with the building industry.
Oldershaw Brothers is committed to the ongoing
training of all operatives in Health & Safety matters and ensures safe
working conditions through effective site management.
We understand the procedures required to produce Method Statements and
Risk Assessments.
As Oldershaw Brothers is a member of the National
Federation of Builders, (NFB), which is part of the Construction Confederation,
additional specialist advice can be sought from their Health & Safety
Department.
Our company Health & Safety Policy is reviewed on an ongoing basis as new legislation is introduced. A copy can be made available upon request.
Insurance & Guarantees
Even with stringent safety procedures, Oldershaw
Brothers Ltd. recognizes that building sites are notoriously dangerous places.
We at Oldershaw Brothers Ltd. believe we can
assure all our clients peace of mind with a Public Liability Insurance policy of
£5 million.
As a member of the National Federation of
Builders, (NFB), we can offer, for a modest additional cost, ‘The NFB
Benchmark Builder Guarantee Insurance Scheme’ for all building projects.
We are also able to offer a 10 year National
House Builders, (NHBC), guarantee for any complete new home we build.

Environmental
We, at Oldershaw Brothers Ltd., acknowledge the
impact building has upon the environment. As
such, we have developed an Environmental Policy, which is reviewed at regular
intervals in order that, as a company, our building operations cause minimal
impact to our world.
